At Eren we are committed to the decarbonisation of our processes, with a group sustainability drive focused on wind, solar and alternative energy sources, in addition to our investments. Our Containerboard operations will use 100% recycled raw materials, with sustainability embedded in our culture.
Environment
Our Shotton Mill site, with the newest innovations and technologies, makes the Mill an exemplar flagship facility in the UK and Europe.
The site features a Material Recovery and Recycling Facility (MRRF), which receives, separates and prepares recyclable material. A major portion of our energy comes from a biomass operation. And we are also significantly reducing the length of the logistics supply chain that brings paper products into the UK.
